So many of us believe we have done something God could never forgive. We’ve gone too far. We’ve done too much. Too many mistakes. But if it is not true of Jesus it is not true of God. What we learn from the life of Peter is no one is beyond the forgiveness of God. We will conclude Lent with a time of confession, repentance and forgiveness (with call / response from the front, “Do you love Jesus?” “Yes, Lord. You know we love you!” Three times. And finish these words spoken Son / Daughter your sins are forgiven … Catholic Style, sort of).
